Cleaning has always been a struggle for me. I always get side tracked with something else or make a bigger mess. One could also say I am lazy, which is true as well. What I think is clean may not be what other people think is clean. Each year I said I going to be a better cleaner of my own house.
I had recently read a book called How to Manage your home Without Losing your Mind by Dana K White. She is the owner of the blog called a Slob comes Clean.
** Don’t look at your cleaning as a project. It is a continuous battle. Each day cleaning should be on your schedule.
** Have family members help in the continuous cleaning of the house.
** Pick up a few things before going to bed. No one wants to wake up a mess.
** Give your self a timed amount to do cleaning. Like every 20 minutes do something. If a person is doing one task too long they will lose their motivation for it.
** A schedule could be also a possibility as well. Each day plan that you are cleaning a certain part of the house.
Now of course, to be a better cleaner will be on my resolutions or goals list for the new year. I need to take my own advice for sure.
Would you be able to use these ideas to help you clean house? They are simple. I clean a little then I work at the computer then I get up again. Cleaning is a task each person needs to do but some love it and some dread it. Just get up and clean even though you don’t want to do it.
