Many families choose to put Christmas lights up on the outside of their house or in their yard during the season. My family growing up we put them on the one very big pine tree in the front yard. It was a sight to see with my dad running the loader tractor and mom in the loader part. Dad would move her up and down just to mess with her. With my own family, we put Christmas lights on the house as well. I can remember when I was little going with my parents driving through neighborhoods and this one house just to look at the Christmas lights that were up. This one house many people drove through the long driveway to see the wide arrangement of lights they had set up. There was Christmas music set to the music as well. Driving around town to see Christmas lights is a great way to get some quality time with the family.
Many towns have Christmas light displays set up for people to drive through or drive past to check out during this time of they year.
