How often do you cook supper at your house? I cook a full supper about 6 days a week most likely. I can get away with one day a week of frozen pizza. I try to bake a homemade snack/dessert type item once a week for my family instead of buying cookies or another sweet item. I believe that cooking and baking from scratch is the best way to save on money. It is also the best way to show your family you love them.
I love searching the web for the new recipes to try out. I thought I would share my favorite websites that I sometimes check out.
First I would like to tell you about a site that covers many sites. It is called I am an Organizing Junkie and you can be too. Each Monday, she has a post called Menu Plan Monday. It is whether other people plan and post/share their menu for the week with others. I love checking it out. There is frugal menus to gluten free menus.
Allrecipes–This site is great because you can look for recipes with certain ingredients only. There is categories for appetizers, chicken, vegetarian, slow cooker, fat free, drinks and more.
Food Network– I just like this site because I watch shows on Food network. If I like what someone has made I can always go find it there. It is listed my shows, chefs, recipes.
Taste of Home –I love this site as much as the magazine I get. The recipes are down home meals that anyone will like and anyone can make them.
Pinterest –a favorite of many. This one you can see what other have like already.
